Flute Recital-March 19, 2009

"This piece is composed by H.R. Sinisalo. This flute player was born in Russia on June 14, 1920. He studied at the Moskou and Leningrad conservatories. His works include ballets and orchestral pieces, often based on Karelish themes. He also wrote Heros of the Forest, the first nationa symphony."

I had to give the short introduction for my piece...I was more nervous for speaking in Dutch in front of people, than the playing! Thankfully most is too quiet to hear on the recording. I had a few mistakes, but was pleased to find that it sounded better on video than how I thought I did.
