Shoe Analysis-warning, superficial post

I have been accused of having too many shoes (also purses and clothes). So I decided to count, just to see...here are my findings, I will write as I discover them. My conclusion before I start is that of what I have, I only am attached to 20 pairs, which include boots, flip flops, church shoes and all the rest. Why do I have way more? Well, because I am a matching freak, not only in color, but style. Also, I always shopped at Ross, so a pair of shoes or sandals for under $10, I couldn't leave. My mom also is part to blame.

I suppose I should say that I have decided to go for quality instead of quantity, since that is more the Belgian way, but I kind of disagree. In my get-rid-of pile, I have a pair of Tommy clogs, a brand new pair of Kenneth Cole shoes and I already gave away a pair of Naturalizer boots. What do I have remaining? Walmart sandals that look great from 2004 and Walmart water shoes. Ok, so I have a few pairs of Sketchers also...all things in moderation *reminding self.*

"List of Shame"
2 black sandals-1=adorable, but with slighly offensive spikes, 1=uncomfortable
6 foam flip flops
1 turquoise sandals
2 brown sandals (includes above-named pair)
3 ugly white sandals that are over loved
1 white church sandal that kills back
1 white from Marices, horribly ugly, even the hubby is embarrased
1 pink sandal
1 water shoe
1 orange sandal with, again, slighly offensive spikes
2 black church with strap (one from 2002! One with pink)
1 black pump (gift)
1 beautiful black with purple
1 red clunkers
3 brown dress (2 were gifts)
4 semi sport, look normal with a skirt
1 green sandal
1 red sandal
1 beautiful silver shoes, 24th birthday gift
1 needing-to-be-used running shoes
1 brown chunky, not worn in Belgie
3 boots that were worn every day from Oct 1-Mar 1
-7 to be given away...
----------------------------------------am I ready for this?

Only 39 folks!! BETTER THAN EXPECTED. Oh, wait, I will add snow boots to make it an even 40. Ooooh, and the fancy shoes in the garage. I think I have silver (maybe 2 pairs?), wedding shoes, gold, black sparkly, so that brings the total to 45. At one point I counted 50, so I downsized a little when I moved...any that are left in America should STAY there. I don't need more. Wait, yes I do...WHITE CHURCH SHOES.

"You want to fall in love with a shoe, go ahead. A shoe can't love you back, but, on the other hand, a shoe can't hurt you too deeply either. And there are so many nice-looking shoes. "Allan Sherman

  3. Unreal! I couldn't imagine having so many shoes! But then again...I have to buy for 3 kids as well, so I automatically get less! hehe.

    I have maybe 10 pairs!
