Easter Weekend-Switzerland

"A picture is worth a thousand words..."

This photo represents the very special time I had this weekend with believers around my age. I forget how much I miss that kind of fellowship! It was wonderful! I did not know who would all be at the convention, so I was afraid that maybe I would not have anyone to talk to, but as you can see there were plenty of options...in addition to the ones in this photo, there were probably another 25.

Each night we would visit in the cafeteria until we were kicked out at midnight and then continue in another room until 1 or later when we were sent to bed...during those hours I laughed more than I have in a very long time! I also got to enjoy a few games of foozball and an improv-concert.

On Saturday we drove to Sempach, where Albert Van-someone saved Switzerland many years ago...after that we went for a short visit to Luzern, where I got to drink Starbucks! Java Chip Frap...lekkkkeeerr. It now makes my total 3 in a year's time.

Sunday between services we went again to Sempach with a different group of people, then to a random lake for a walk. Because it was too cold, we went back to the convention center and visited inside.

I am thankful for the new, as well as strengthened, friendships.
