Two days ago I thought to myself, "Hey, I haven't cried in probably a few months over homesick-related things! That is pretty good!" With those thoughts apparently still in my head, I had a very realistic dream...
S. was here visiting and we were having a wonderful time. We were at my sister-in-law's and I was teaching her Dutch words and she was using them and then laughing. We got a phone call from K1 that she was moving with K2 to Idaho. I started crying at the news.
I know it shouldn't seem to matter if K1 moves with K2, but I am not sure if I will see K2 in December and that makes me sad, so I was sad at the possibility of not seeing K1 also.
I was feeling down the whole morning and sad, then finally I realized from what! The dream! It affected me even when I was awake! I got quite sad, but this time it was not in a dream. I then had a rough hour and it was hard to wash the windows not knowing if the drops of water were coming from my eyes or were on the windows.
I am so glad my mom is coming in June and I get to go for a month!
I was just thinking about home today. :(
ReplyDeleteI wanna go home. Thank goodness my parents are coming in September...it will be a year since I've seen my mom! argh.
Just got to hang in there. June isn't so far away now! :D
It's very funny how much of an affect dreams can have on us. I'm sometimes confused about certain things I think have happened until I realize it was in my dream. I am missing you, especially lately. I've been needing people to go to plays with me and just hang out. Everyone is busy working. I found another road trip partner though. That made me happy, because I was sad about that too.
ReplyDeleteAww... just wanted to stop by and give you a big **HUG**
ReplyDeleteKeep the countdown on! Plan all the wonderful things you are going to do with your Mom...including trying everything at the Fry shops! LOL
ReplyDeletemaybe we can meet somewhere in dec.... :)
ReplyDeleteThe longer you live there, the more you tend to adjust...at least that's how it was for me. Have a blast with your Mom!!
