I wish I had some super cute photos of our family in red, white and blue or stories to tell of the bbq with family and friends, but this year, yet again, we are celebrating in a non-traditional way. I made sure our trip was extended to include the holiday, but it seems that created the perfect opportunity for our good friends to get married. Truth is they decided to get married during our stay, so my hubby could be the best man. As I speak the bridal party is out doing photos and I am chilling with my Canadian SIL while the little ones nap.
Oh, I guess I did not mention that the wedding is in CANADA. However, we are planning on watching the fireworks this evening. Most likely it will be from the Canadian side of the border, but it will still make me happy. This morning I wore a red bracelet and shoes and my hubby proudly wore his Old Navy Flag shirt.
For those interested, here is the photobook I made for the special couple. Thanks for those who contributed!
Haha it's like how I wanted sooo badly to be home for the 4th, but we had rain all week long! We did go to a very American baseball game the day before, where they did a fireworks show just before the rain began to pour, so that was fun at least. We'll have to try again next year!
