"It's the most wonderful time of the year..." I always have felt that way. Last year was very hard, but this year is going better. I started doing my decorations the last week of November. I just finished yesterday. It's not much, but it makes me happy. We are having the family Christmas party this Sunday and I am all ready. I am excited, because we are supposed to eat fondue and yummy desserts from our class. This week we all made something like a 'log' cake, so we will eat that, plus I am going to make another dessert we learned. I want to go to several Christmas markets in the area and find a Christmas concert to go to.
What else is happening around here? I only have 3 more integration classes-tomorrow, Friday and Monday. Then, hallelujah, I'm done! I have been working all the days I did not have class, so it has been crazy busy with all my other commitments. That is probably the reason I am in bed right now at 11:41. I am SICK. Ok, maybe not sick enough for capital letters, but I felt that way yesterday when I called to say I wouldn't work today. It is actually the first time I have ever called in sick for work or school. It is wonderful, because I could sleep in peace all night not worrying about having to work and I woke up so late!!!
I am also feeling better about things, because I had to give a little presentation in my music class. I was very stressed over it, but only put about 2 hours of effort into it. Anyways, it turned out I did the most work of the 4 people, so everything was ok!
I am thankful my sore throat and headache are gone. I will get up, go mail a few cards and try to be a little bit productive today, but if I start feeling bad again, I will rest. I think I am going to start the coughing phase of this sickness and then blow my nose 100 times a day.
What exciting things are YOU doing for the holiday season?

I am racing around trying to finish up my Christmas shopping, and then wrap it all, before Monday. We are having a family Christmas party for Terrill's side on Monday...and, we leave for Canada on the 21st! So, I have alot of packing to do as well before then!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are busy! Christmas in Europe is probably so nice! Have a Merry Christmas!
I'm just wrapping presents like crazy. My livingroom is full of wrapping paper and tissue paper and stuff right now. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies sometimes.
I haven't even started on cards, decorating or presents. Well, I did buy some candy to send home, but other than that I'm way behind. It seems every time I go out intending to buy gifts/deco I get distracted and then don't know what to buy. lol
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon!!
Love the ditto!!
