Happy News!

I just want to know why I did not hear this in March? I am seriously considering applying for a job...

Ghent - March 08, 2011 – The city of Ghent is the next town, after Antwerp and Brussels, to get an outlet of the well-known American coffee concern Starbucks. ‘We noticed that there is growing demand for our coffee and great customer service on the Belgian market’, explains Carol

That is why Starbucks is increasing its presence in Belgium with a sixth Starbucks store, in Ghent, which will be opening in the second half of this year. It is not clear yet where exactly the latest Starbucks Store will be situated. 'We are intensively looking for a central location, a commercially attractive spot in Ghent's city center', says Cedric Pauwels of Peak Communications. 'It has not been determined yet whether or not the railway station of Ghent Sint-Pieters is a possibility.'

Starbucks is celebrating its fortieth birthday today. The company is extending its beverage and food offering. Belgium already has three Starbucks Stores at Zaventem airport and one in Antwerp Central Station. This summer another Starbucks Store will be opening in Brussels Central Station.
