Hair Dare 24

I have seen several 'french' rope braids. I really like them. Today was my first attempt. I think I sort of got it, but did it backwards. I actually would've preferred to just leave my hair down, but with the little guy, it's not so handy. I then tried a french twist and fake curls on top. Well, I didn't secure it good enough, so by the time I took the photo, it has really slid down.

I would've liked this better if I worked on it a little bit longer, but (excuses, excuses) my hand/wrist/arm/shoulder were hurting. I actually have something wrong with them and have appointments on Monday to figure them out. One is to get x-rays and an ultrasound on my hand and wrist (my middle finger always feels asleep and the other fingers often fall asleep). The other is like physical therapy for my shoulders and neck. I hope this will help the headaches!

  1. I recognize those arm/shoulder pains and numbness. I don't know how old your baby is and if you are nursing or not, I did that always when my children were wee bity and up. I think it was the way my elbow rested on the arm of the rocking chair and the way I slept at night. Hopefully your problems are simple ones. I had a chiropractor (way cheaper and less invasive- over here!)take care of my problems. He said that it was a pinched nerve.

Not cool about your arms and hands! I hope it's nothing serious.
