Easter

Ok, I know April 8 was a while ago, but I just got the photos today.

It was such crummy weather the week of the holiday that it just didn't feel like Easter. The day before my neighbor called to see if I wanted to come decorate cookies. We had a nice time together and I was pretty happy with the results. I then felt more festive (I didn't even buy any chocolate eggs this year, because they are too addictive).

I knew we'd be spending the next afternoon with my nieces, so I made some 'personalized' cookies. They were a hit. Mateo also was allowed to eat his cookie since it was a holiday. He started choking on the icing, so mommy finished his and gave him an un-iced one.
