From the moment we stepped of the plane, you knew it was back to real life. Of course the time we are out, with our bags before the plane even was supposed to land, we have to wait until a train comes...it was cold, dark and rainy.
The first minute of being home had a few unpleasant surprises: 1. I had a letter saying my unemployment was NOT approved, when we were pretty sure it would be. 2. My package didn't arrive (after inquiring it seems it was a fraud or lost in the mail). 3. The heater was on (=paying who knows how much extra)
Since then I broke a mug that was a gift and when I was trying to clean it up, discovered that apparently I killed the vacuum. I was being an overachiever and was vacuuming dust out of the dryer and I saw some under it, so I took a piece out and vacuumed. That is when it started smelling and stopped. I thought Mateo turned it off, but I realized it stopped on its own. BAD. When I picked it up, WATER came out! So somehow I sucked up water without knowing it. I had it sitting on the heater for a few day hoping that could dry it out if that was the problem, but this morning it didn't work.
Any tips? I hope the hubby is handy enough to figure something out!!!
AND THEN today after almost getting in a fight at Kruidvat with the stupid cashier and her stupid supervisor, I was on my way home when the windshield wipers turned on and I saw a piece of paper...
The super annoying thing is that I looked for a sign when I pulled in and even DOUBLE checked in the car next to me to see if they had paid for parking or had their parking card out.
So to leave me thinking on happier things...here I am picking up shells from the shores of Galilee...
Post vacation blues :S the worst part of vacations.
