Oh my recent trip back home I noticed it is the trend to turn some of those fun colored jeans into a skirt. I am not always a fan of the look or the results, but I DO love bright colored denim skirts. Everyone I have found is too short, so I understand why this trend is, well, a trend.
I spotted some bright pink
maternity pants a while back and told myself "If they go 70% off, I will attempt this." Lo and behold, a few weeks ago during the
wonderful July Sales I found my size -70%. I took out the seams when we drove to Brussels and then I checked out Youtube and Pinterest for some basic instructions. I ended up sewing how I normally do. My own way, doing what seems to make sense in my head, but not really using or knowing a 'right way.' I must say-I am happy with the results. The project did not take very long, but it was broken up due to the 2 year old who insisted on helping.
I took a few self portraits this morning, so the lighting is not great...
