When I worked at a bank, we had a book with a list of things we needed to check off before moving up the ladder. Things like "Open 5 checking accounts," "Sell travelers checks," "Change a pincode."
I feel like today I checked off a lot on some unwritten list for living in Belgium
1. Call the emergency room. Done. Check. 3:20 am
2. Go to the emergency room. Done. Check. 4:00-6:00 am
3. Call the police. Done. Check. 2:00 pm
4. Report a lost ID card. Done. Check. 4:00 pm.
Let's hope tomorrow is a little less exciting.
