Diploma

Sometime right before I visited home (October) I got an email that my diploma was finally recognized here and I could go pick of the paper that stated to what it was equivalent. I was very excited. This process took 2 years.

I was pretty disappointed with the outcome. They said it was equal to a high school diploma here! I have 3 associates degrees, plus some extra classes, so a full 3 years of college education.

Thankfully the woman who explained it to me was very helpful. She had nothing to do with the decision. She helped me fill out the paperwork and mailed to to the right people.

She showed me my options to study here for bookkeeping and gave me the names and numbers of schools or advisors.

I looked a little into it, but don't feel like starting from the beginning again.

Wednesday I quit my job. It was better for tax purposes if I officially quit instead of using the rest of my unpaid maternity leave.

Soooooo, now I need to figure what I want to do. I feel like I want to work a little bit. I want to bring in some money, mainly to pay for plane tickets! But what and where, I'm not sure...I would like something besides cleaning, but I know I can always go back to it if I want.
