First (Main) Goal Weight

I reached my goal weight in June, but knew with vacation and visitors it was going to be hard to maintain. Come middle of September I was back up 6 pounds. I got serious the last week of  September. At the slow, but steady pace of around a pound/week, I reached my goal again today! I still want to lose a few more to get to my final goal, but at this weight, all those clothes I couldn't wear last fall should FIT! I have a better feeling this time about reaching the goal. We are going to Israel in a few weeks, but I figure we will be walking lots and it is a different trip than just sitting and eating.

I happened to put on a skirt I knew we took photos in 2 years ago, so I thought to check what I weighed then. I was half a pound more. So here are the 'then' photo and 2 'now'.

See Me Run

I got motivated yesterday. I was to my pre-preggo weight for about a whole week.  Now I am up 5 lbs.

I have thought about again starting my start-to-run program, but my shoes were bothering me last time. They are no-name, Walmart, probably junk that have had a good life.

I didn't feel like buying running shoes if I would never use them.

The hubby started talking about training to run in some race next year in Brussels. I said I would do it with him, but we didn't plan much further.

I got advertising for a sports equipment outlet this weekend, so I planned to go to look for shoes for both of us and walking shoes for Israel.

WELL! Today I was visiting my SIL whose friend was visiting. She always brings goodies to give away. Today they told me to try on this pair of shoes. My first question, of course, is "What size?" What do you know! They say (in American!)-size 8.5.

They seem to fit, are NIKE (which must mean good quality) and, I think, never worn. The owner apparently bought them and didn't like them. I did quick research and they seem to be over 100 dollars new. Nike Air Zoom Percept runningshoesresearch.com/nike-air-zo

This is my favorite fitness site! How active I am depends on how motivated I am to LOSE WEIGHT. I love the fitness tracker. Somewhere for me to log my workouts (even little ones). Right now I am pretty motivated and want to STAY motivated. My goal is to lose my baby weight by April 23. 9 months to gain, 9 months to lose (although in theory, it should be only 40 weeks to lose, but I won't put pressure on myself).

I have lost 10 pounds since January 1. Very pleased with that! About 4 pounds until pre-baby and 10 till goal!
