Well I have been here 6 weeks 4 days. Almost time to go back :( It is weird, I feel how I did in October/November. I am trying to see everyone one last time this week, attend appointments, sell/get rid of things and figure out my American finances.
Today was a super busy and productive day. I made a visit to the dentist and to the optician. I am excited about my eye appointment. I have noticed especially since being here that I can't see properly. I was wearing -5.5 contacts in both sides. Well! They changed, now I have -5.75 and -5. No wonder I could not see. I have been thrilled with my past 5 hours of clear vision. It is the first time ever that an eye has improved.
The other great thing is that I realized I should've gone a while ago in order to have my contacts by Friday. The woman recommended I try 1-800-Contacts. She said they can do home shipping in 2 days. I figured it would be crazy expensive, but was pleasantly surprised when the man there said it would be $8. By the end of the conversation he decided it was an 'emergency' and had them sent for free!!!
What I still need to do is deliever a few Christmas gifts, do the Christmas card envelopes, mail my Nexus card away :( and send in my receipts. I, unfortunately, have to give up on making millions on all the stuff I want to sell-hehe
